Path 527 and Bivacco Testa

After you park your car on continue on foot along the mule track meeting first the crossroad to Canet, path 529A, and then the Val Gru waterfalls, a chatacteristic path that is along the skirts of the torrendt and crosses it, thanks to one-of-a-kind bridge with iron handrail.

For less experts the day can continue discovering springs and the valley with a serie of river crossing and it is characterized by Sfodrac” area where the path is “built-in” between high rocky walls.
For the more experienced the path can continue away from the stream and passing through gravel paths and a dense forest until you reach the Bivacco Testa.

Located in the Predaccio area, at 1489 m, bivouac Testa is always open and it offers a kitchen, available to hikers, and some beds that can be booked calling Mr. Rinaldi Camillo at 344 16 08 439.

The idea of the bivouac born in 1979 as an emergency shelter. In the following years it has been expanded several times, first offering 6 beds, then building a bedroom over the balcony.
